Machine Operator

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Sheeter/Operator to join our production team.

The Sheeter/Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup and operation of sheeting equipment used to convert paper and board materials into finished sheets. The successful candidate will maintain production quality, perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance, and work closely with the production team to meet customer and production requirements.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate sheeting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow job tickets, production schedules, and operating procedures.
• Load raw materials and unload and stage finished products.
• Operate a forklift and/or clamp truck as required.
• Complete machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Monitor machine operation throughout production.
• Measure sheet size, dimensions, and caliper to verify product specifications.
• Inspect finished sheets for defects, imperfections, and quality issues.
• Make machine adjustments as required to maintain product quality.
• Record production quantities and sheets produced using the computer system.
• Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
• Coordinate with coworkers on skid building, material handling, and production requirements.
• Report equipment issues, material problems, quality concerns, and safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
