Machine Operator – Manufacturing / Metal Finishing

Advanced Zinc Platers is looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our production team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating sandblasting equipment
• Air cleaning and drying of finished components
• Operating overhead hoists for safe movement of jobs
• Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
• Sequencing jobs based on production priorities
• Assisting with loading, unloading and general production activities
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, sandblasting or machine operation preferred
• Experience operating overhead hoists is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable handling metal components
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and assist across different production activities

Location: Dandenong area, Melbourne
Position: Full-time

Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
