Duties

• Operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming tools, CAM programming software, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses to produce precision components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Set up and calibrate equipment using shop math, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement instruments to meet strict dimensional specifications.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards in production.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling tools; prepare raw materials for machining or assembly processes.
• Conduct quality control inspections utilizing GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), shop math, and precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
• Maintain accurate production logs, documentation of machine settings, maintenance records, and safety reports in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in tooling setup and changeovers on CNC machines or stamping presses to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Support assembly line operations by working with hand tools and fabricating parts as needed for final product assembly or packaging.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming tools; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators; understanding GD&T principles is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively; experience with factory maintenance or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments; committed to maintaining a safe workspace at all times.
• Experience with shop math, fabrication techniques, tooling setup, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks for part design or modification is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail; capable of interpreting production documents accurately.
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; ability to work on an assembly line or in a production environment efficiently.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
