The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling front-end production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role leads front-end line activities, maintains product quality standards, performs equipment adjustments, and supports production teams in achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience, with strong mechanical aptitude, experience operating production equipment and computerized controls, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Operate and control all front-end production equipment during startup, shutdown, and normal manufacturing operations.

• Monitor product quality and ensure all products meet company quality standards, specifications, and documentation requirements.

• Read and adjust machine parameters using computerized controls to maintain optimal production performance.

• Monitor the operating condition of equipment and machinery, identify issues, and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.

• Complete required production documentation, recordkeeping, and operational reports accurately and timely.

• Train and support new and temporary employees while promoting safe work practices and operational excellence.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Support production requirements by working various shifts and assisting with additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 2-5 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial production experience preferred.

• Ability to operate front-end manufacturing equipment, monorail cranes, manual lifts, hand tools, scrapers, and utility knives safely and effectively.

• Ability to read measuring instruments, including tape measures and other production measurement tools.

• Experience working with computerized machine controls and adjusting production parameters.

• Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements, product quality standards, and manufacturing processes.

For this role, we anticipate paying $24-$26 an hour. Placement within the range considers experience, skills, and internal equity.
