Job Description

Steeler is seeking a dependable and motivated Roll forming Machine Operator with Leadership and/or Supervisory experience to join our busy manufacturing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment used in the production of steel framing products while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate steel framing roll-forming machinery and other manufacturing equipment.
• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to production requirements.
• Follow work orders, production instructions, and established procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with material handling and movement of finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report on equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to management.
• Learn additional equipment and production processes as needed.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other members of the production team.

Qualifications

· Leadership and Supervisory experience is a plus

• Previous steel, metal, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Roll-forming machine experience is a plus.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to learn new machines and production processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with limited supervision.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with a manufacturing position.

This position is base salary only. No commissions or performance-based bonuses are offered.
