Machine Operator

Role:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating one or more of the following pieces of equipment in a continuous process: metal sheet roll forming, chemical composition and application, automated industrial band saws, packaging, and industrial machine wrapping. This role offers competitive hourly pay, steady daytime hours, and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

· Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.

· Read and understand production documentation (cut lists, production orders, coil tags).

· Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to achieve a conforming product.

· Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.

· Perform quality checks and document results.

· Input data accurately to render production KPI’s.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

· Must be safety minded.

· Ability to read a tape measure.

· Ability to understand and operate Microsoft Office.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

· Basic math skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively, work with a team, and take direction to achieve a common goal.

· Ability to drive mobile equipment.

Preferences:

· Experience in at least one of the following: metal sheet roll forming, chemical composition, automated industrial band saw, industrial machine wrapping.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Forklift/Mobile Equipment experience.

· High school diploma or GED.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
