About the role
This is a hands-on role suited to an operator who takes pride in producing accurate work, can work independently, and understands the standards expected on commercial and civil projects.
Key responsibilities
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently
- GPS machine control operation
- Final trim and detailed earthworks
- Trenching, drainage, and site preparation
- Working alongside site supervisors and ground crews
- Daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintaining a high standard of health and safety on site
About you
- Proven excavator operating experience
- Strong GPS machine control experience
- Confident completing final trim work to specification
- Experience on civil construction projects
- Ability to read plans and work to levels
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused
- WTR endorsements preferred
- Full Class 1 licence required (Class 2 advantageous)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
