MACHINE OPERATOR

Woodport Doors is growing, and we're looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Shawano. What You'll Be Doing

• Set up, program and operate production machines with minimal errors and supervision.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot machine issues to keep production moving.
• Complete simple preventive maintenance on equipment using hand tools.
• Assist other operators and Maintenance with mechanical repairs.
• Read and follow production schedules so the right product is built at the right time.
• Perform quality checks to make sure specifications are met.
• Control waste and look for ways to improve.
• Help train new and existing team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Prior machine operating training or experience.
• Good mechanical skills and strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read a tape measure and/or caliper and work with fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Clear communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and commitment to working safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or older.
