Job Summary:

You will work independently and be responsible for the set up and operation of a slitting machine producing packaging products in bag or roll stock form (per customer preference).

Essential Functions:

• Set up and operate designated machinery as efficiently as possible; training will be provided
• Must be able to read ruler, tape measure, as this is critical for machine set ups (complex measurement calculations may vary)
• Must be able to read & understand the customer’s job order instruction and set the specifications per job accordingly
• Must be alert & work efficiently keeping downtime & waste to a minimum
• Maintain the equipment in great condition & always practice safe operation steps
• Schedule: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (two days on, two days off with lots of opportunities for additional overtime)
• Your work will be overseen by the supervisor & department manager for support

Position Info:

• Day Shift (6:00am – 6:00pm) on a rotating schedule
• Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:00am) on a rotating schedule

Pay: $23.55 per hour with an increase every six months

Pay Range: $23.55 - $28.34
