Job Description:
To participate in the manufacturing operations of paper cups and plates in a state-of-the-art facility. This position is responsible for supporting all facets of the manufacturing and distribution process. The Machine Operator will report directly to the leader of manufacturing operations with interaction with vendors, customers and Independent Sales Representatives on a day-to-day basis.

Job Responsibilities:

 Participate in the operations of the paper cup and plate manufacturing process.

 Pull customer orders and prepare for shipment. Must be proficient with use of a forklift

 Receive and stock manufacturing supplies

 Assist with Inventory Control including the monitoring of inventory levels

 Maintain and clean warehouse area and machinery in food grade state

 Perform preventative maintenance daily and machinery repairs as required

 Collaborate with management to ensure the facility is operated in accordance with OSHA

 Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services offered by Sierra International

 Other miscellaneous task as required

Minimum Qualifications:

 1-3 years of proven Manufacturing Operations experience with a record of safety and efficient management.

 Previous experience as a machine operator, warehouse supervisor, forklift operator, inventory control specialist, or receiving clerk

 Experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting is considered a* plus.*

 Background in food service or paper product manufacturing strongly preferred

 HS diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or Technical Trade a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
