Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will play a hands-on role in safely and efficiently operating manufacturing equipment while producing quality products our customers know and trust.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor and adjust food-manufacturing machinery to meet production and quality targets.
• Prepare batter and cream mixes and complete required line product quality checks.
• Maintain accurate production records and report equipment faults or production issues promptly.
• Follow all health and safety, food safety, hygiene, GMP and environmental procedures.
• Work closely with the production and engineering team to keep work areas organised and achieve daily production goals.

What we are looking for

• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods, including lifting up to 20kg
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality
• Reliable, motivated and eager to learn and develop new skills
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience or a current forklift licence would be advantageous.

Roster Structure
Our production team operates on a four-day, 10-hour shift pattern, Monday to Thursday, with either Day Shift hours of 5:30am to 4:00pm or Night Shift hours of 3:50pm to 2:20am. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required to support production start-ups, operational requirements, and customer demand.
