Job Description

Pacific Manufacturing & Design (PMAD) is seeking a reliable, Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team.

We specialize in manufacturing gummies, dietary supplements, powders, capsules, chocolates, and other consumer products.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjustments for different products and production runs.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor production to ensure product quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow production schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate production records and equipment logs.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to set up, adjust, and operate production equipment.
• Experience with food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or packaging equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with manufacturing operations.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
