Machine Operator - Day & Evening Shift (FT)

City Sheet Metal is growing and looking for reliable, mechanically inclined people to join our manufacturing team.

Machine operating experience is an asset, but it isn't required. If you're dependable, comfortable working with machinery, willing to learn and take pride in doing quality work, we'll train you.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
• Produce aluminum building products to quality standards
• Perform basic machine adjustments and changeovers
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Package and prepare products for the next stage of production
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safe work procedures
• Work with the production team to achieve daily targets

What We're Looking For

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable around machinery
• Able to measure accurately and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn different machines and production processes
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Previous manufacturing, machine operating, construction, metalworking or similar experience is an asset

Don't have machine operating experience?

That's okay. We're willing to train people who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and mechanical aptitude.

Compensation

$18+/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.

Afternoon/Night Shift: Shift premium available.
