Machine Operator - Krones

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on knowledge of KRONES or TETRA PAK machinery to join our high-performing production team. You will be responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and minor maintenance of filing/packaging equipment to ensure smooth and consistent production runs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor KRONES / TETRA PAK filling, depal and packaging machines according to daily production plans
• Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to accommodate product or format variations
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues or stoppages, escalating complex problems as needed
• Complete daily production and downtime reporting
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of machinery and work area in line with GMP and hygiene standards
• Follow Health & Safety and food safety protocols at all times
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and machine efficiency initiatives

Key Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating machinery in a production environment
• Familiar with KRONES or TETRA PAK systems and mechanical settings (ideal but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Understanding of OEE, line efficiency, and basic troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and handling manual tasks
• Able to keep up in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant trade qualification or mechanical aptitude preferred
• Forklift license advantageous
• Knowledge of beverage manufacturing or FMCG industry a plus

Shifts:

Rotating or fixed shifts may apply, including evenings and weekends depending on production demands.
