Hours:

MIDNIGHTS | Monday – Thursday | 7:00PM to 5:30AM [4 tens]

*Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.

• Pay: $19-$20 per hour (includes shift differential)

JOB SUMMARY

Jet Stream International is hiring a Production Machine Operator to run automated packaging equipment

(SCAM Machines) used to count and package small components.

This position is ideal for someone who prefers steady, independent work and is comfortable monitoring equipment and packaging completed product runs. The role offers a consistent routine in a clean, organized work area and works well for individuals who enjoy focused work with minimal interruption.

*On-the-job training provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load components into SCAM machine bins for automated counting and packaging
• Monitor machine output and clear jams or miscounts when needed
• Label and box completed product runs accurately
• Track production output and complete basic production forms
• Perform basic visual quality checks on finished packages
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work seated or standing depending on machine setup

COMPETENCIES

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. daily
• Comfortable standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
• Basic reading and counting skills required
• Willing to use or learn tow motor/forklift (training available)
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent daily routine

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Six plus months' work-related experience or training

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift Operator License

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 40 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
