Machine Operator – Packhouse Evesham

Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to operate a Proseal CT2S tray sealing machine within a busy packhouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient machine operation, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the production team to meet daily targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Proseal CT2S tray sealing machine
• Set up and adjust the machine according to daily production requirements
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure correct film usage, sealing temperatures, and packaging standards
• Maintain high product quality and presentation standards
• Follow all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Minimise downtime and promptly report technical issues to maintenance
• Accurately complete required production documentation
• Use hand tools safely and effectively; perform basic mechanical adjustments
• Apply basic welding techniques where required
• Understand material properties and fabrication processes
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quality control
• Support warehouse and stock control processes when necessary
• Maintain an organised workspace and contribute to efficient workflow

Requirements

• Previous experience operating Proseal CT2S or similar tray sealing machinery
• Experience in a packhouse or food production environment
• Good technical understanding of production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• Reliable and flexible with working hours
