Looking for a hands-on role with great hours and full training provided?

We're looking for a reliable, mechanically minded person to join an established manufacturing team in Regency Park. You'll work alongside experienced operators, learn how industrial printing machinery operates, and help produce quality packaging products supplied to customers across Australia and overseas.

No printing experience? No problem! If you're practical, eager to learn and take pride in doing a good job, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

You'll work as part of a friendly production team, assisting with the operation of industrial printing machinery used to manufacture aluminium closures and packaging products for the wine, spirits, olive oil and beverage industries.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the operation and set-up of printing machinery
• Preparing inks, materials and equipment for production
• Cleaning ink cylinders and printing components
• Checking product quality and identifying any defects
• Assisting with machine changeovers and general production tasks
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area

Some manual handling is involved, including lifting items weighing up to 10kg.

What we're looking for

We're interested in people who are reliable, practical and keen to learn.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing or a hands-on role
• A mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how machinery works
• Good attention to detail and an understanding of quality
• The ability to undertake repetitive tasks and manual handling safely
• A positive attitude, good attendance and a willingness to be part of a team
