Machine Operator / Setup

Role Summary
We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating their machine(s) to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, quality control, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Machine Operators will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assemble components as needed, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1-3 years machine operator experience preferred
• Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise measurements.
• Knowledge of tooling setup and operation for various manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques to manage raw materials effectively.
• Capable of using or being trained to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, height stand, and optical comparators
• Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Commitment to quality control practices to ensure high standards are met.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
