CoreStaff is proud to partner with one of Australia's leading manufacturers of steel building products. Our client manufactures high-quality steel solutions used across residential, commercial, industrial and rural construction projects throughout Australia.

About the Role Working within a steel manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating roll-forming and processing equipment used to manufacture a range of steel building products.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal processing, steel production or machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automated production and roll-forming machinery
• Manufacture steel roofing, cladding and building products to specification
• Conduct quality inspections and product checks
• Set up machinery and perform product changeovers
• Monitor production output and minimise downtime
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Safely handle steel coils, sheets and finished products
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards across the production area
• Work collaboratively to achieve production targets

Skills & Experience To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, steel processing, sheet metal, fabrication or machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality
• Ability to read and follow production instructions
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) highly regarded
