About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Machine Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality structural steel components while maintaining best-practice standards and supporting efficient workflow through to the construction phase.

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate CNC machinery in accordance with Australian Standards.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in the structural steel industry
• Ability to enter NC data files into CNC machinery
• High-risk forklift licence
• Current driver’s licence
• Good communication skills

Highly Regarded

• Basic NC data file programming skills
• General machine operating experience
• Hand and power tool experience
• Assembly experience
• Loading and unloading steel products
• Overhead crane experience
• Production machine setup experience
