Machine Operator/Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate machining equipment, including Flexographic printer and Burlap roller.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery like Flexographic printer and Burlap roller to meet production specifications.
• Handle materials using forklifts and other warehouse tools to move raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety standards rigorously while maintaining quality control through inspection techniques and proper documentation.
• Assist in packaging finished goods for shipment and organize materials for production line readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating Manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Experience with forklift operation, warehouse procedures, or materials handling is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments is essential for maintaining a safe workspace.
• Basic math skills combined with Inventory control, Computer skills and tooling knowledge are advantageous.
• Must be able to do odds and ends work during slow periods. (Mow, clean, etc...)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
