Machine Operator/Process Worker

Join the team at The Broadford Mill as a full-time Machine Operator based in Broadford, Victoria. In this essential role, you will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment to support the company's manufacturing.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of machines and equipment to process raw materials, assemble products, and prepare goods for distribution
• Monitor machine performance and perform routine minor maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality
• Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and increase productivity
• Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in similar manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret instructions
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in machine operation or manufacturing are highly desirable
• Australian work rights are required for this position
