• Afternoon shift - 5:00AM to 1:00PM (Loaders and offcoil machine operators)
• $38 per hour + LOTS of overtime and weekends!

Our client, a leader in steel processing and fabrication, is actively seeking multiple overhead crane loaders and off-coil machine operators for afternoon shiftto join their high-performing team in Derrimut This is your opportunity to work with a reputable company offering competitive hourly rates, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

About the role (Loader):

• Operating overhead cranes to load steel coils onto off-coil machinery
• Operating overhead cranes to move product from machine bays into storage
• Operating overhead cranes to load and unload trucks
• Tying steel bundles post production in machine bays
• Coordinating with machine operators and labourers
• RF Scanning

About the role (Machine operator):

• Operating steel reinforcing machinery such as Off-coil machines, manual benders, and shearline machines to cut and shape steel reo bar
• Read and interpret plans and orders
• Process orders and complete in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot machinery and coordinate with management
• Set up and maintain machinery

About you:

• Previous experience operating overhead cranes is required for loader positions.
• Experience with machinery operating is required for machine operating positions.
• Experience in a steel reinforcing environment is heavily considered
• Available Monday to Friday
• Able to co-ordinate as part of a team environment
• Able to operate in a safe manner
