Machine Operator/Technician

About the Role

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing operations. The role involves following production instructions, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards and established operating procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to ensure proper operation and output quality.
• Inspect raw materials, machine settings, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, production issues, or quality defects to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and rejected products.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with 5S practices.
• Meet daily production targets while ensuring product quality and minimizing material waste.
• Coordinate with team members, quality personnel, and maintenance staff to support smooth production operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Open to fresh graduates with technical training.
• At least a vocational or technical training in machine operation is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing or production operations is preferred, but entry-level applicants may be considered depending on the company's requirements.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, production processes, and workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions, work accurately, and meet production targets.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of performing production-related tasks.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Willing to work onsite in a manufacturing or production facility.

Work Environment

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
