Shift Pattern: Mornings & Afternoons (with flexibility to work nights as required)

Looking for your next engineering challenge?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Press Setter to join our established manufacturing team.

Working with power presses ranging from 100 to 350 tonnes, you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. If you have strong mechanical skills, experience setting press tooling, and enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Setting hotwork and coldwork tooling in power presses (100T-350T)

✔ Changing tooling, die sets and press setups efficiently

✔ Producing and submitting first-off samples to Quality Control

✔ Ensuring products meet quality specifications

✔ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

✔ Using measuring equipment to verify product quality

✔ Identifying and resolving faults at source

✔ Working closely with Production and Quality teams to maximise efficiency

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Press Setter
• Strong mechanical aptitude gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience changing tooling and die sets
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Press Setting Certificate
• Experience working with a range of power presses
• 5+ years' Press Setting experience

Don't have experience with our specific tooling? Don't worry. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Pattern

Following training, the role will normally operate on a two-shift pattern (Mornings and Afternoons).
