Machine Setup and Tooling (Entry Level)

Our company is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL Assembly Machine Setup and Tooling Person

This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow into a skilled role within the semiconductor industry. If you're looking to get out from behind a desk and enjoy working with tools, machinery, and mechanical problem-solving, this could be the perfect fit.

Do you enjoy tinkering, fixing, or building things? If you have hobbies and/or experience repairing and maintaining small component mechanical equipment, you may be an especially strong fit for this role.

THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setup, adjust, maintain, and repair tabletop-sized machines used in the production of very small parts (similar to watch components)
• Perform routine service on shop equipment such as air compressors
• Assemble and inspect very small mechanical components
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of small parts using basic measuring tools
• Perform general shop maintenance as needed

Tools You Will Be Using:

• Tweezers
• Allen wrenches
• Small pliers
• Screwdrivers
• Hand files
• Super glue
• Sandpaper
• Small hardware (screws, nuts, washers, dowel pins, spacers)

Specific Qualifications:

• Excellent eyesight and steady hands for working with very small, delicate components
• Mechanical aptitude and/or experience tinkering with mechanical devices
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
• Interest or background in hobbies involving handling small mechanical parts is a big plus (e.g., watch repair, model building, radio controlled devices, electronics)
• Responsible, punctual, and self-motivated
• Must be able to communicate in English
