Machine Shop Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the shop area to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Support the team in various tasks, including inventory management, restocking supplies, and preparing materials for projects.
• Operate basic tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
