Work Mode: Work From Office

Working Days: 6 Days Working

Industry: Pump Manufacturing Preferred

Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead Machine Shop Operations and Production Planning & Control (PPC). The role will be responsible for production planning, machine utilization, inventory control, quality, continuous improvement and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly and monthly production planning & scheduling.
• Ensure production targets and delivery commitments are achieved.
• Manage CNC, VMC, Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding and manual machining operations.
• Optimize machine loading, capacity and resource utilization.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, machine utilization and production losses.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, Production and Assembly teams.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, fixtures, gauges and consumables.
• Monitor raw material and WIP inventory.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare production MIS, dashboards and performance reports.
• Lead supervisors, planners and machine shop operators.
• Manage manpower planning, training and performance.
