About the role

Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machine Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based in Tanauan City, Batangas. As a Machine Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimisation of our manufacturing equipment. This position is strategically important to our production capabilities and directly impacts our operational efficiency, product quality, and overall business success.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on assigned machines to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor machine operation and product output, identifying and reporting any irregularities or malfunctions
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and production data
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address complex technical issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing environment
• Participate in equipment changeovers and setup adjustments as required for different production runs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Graduate of Industrial Technology course related to Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Instrumental Control,
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be knowledgeable in basic automation,
• With hands on experience in MS Office Application,
• With good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Must possess initiative.
• Minor planning and Execution of Conversion Maintenance activities,
• Analyze and monitor machine data and performs PDCA for countermeasure,
• Execute of parts management.
