Machine Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production machines to ensure efficient operations, product quality, and compliance with company safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines used in mold fabrication and plastic injection processes.
• Perform routine machine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify machine abnormalities and report technical issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in machine setup, adjustment, and changeover as required.
• Ensure machines are operating according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper machine-handling practices.
• Accomplish machine operation, inspection, and maintenance records as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational course, technical course, or diploma in Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• With experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machine components, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Familiarity with mold fabrication or plastic injection machines is an advantage.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, and weekends when required.
• Physically fit, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Fresh graduates or applicants with relevant technical training may be considered.
