Position Overview

The Production Machine Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing packaging and filling equipment across our facility. This role focuses on minimizing machine downtime, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing quick, technical repairs to keep production lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is highly tech-savvy with a strong mechanical and electrical background in industrial machinery. You will act as the primary technical expert on the floor, ensuring all production equipment operates safely, accurately, and at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated filling, capping, and labeling machinery
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical machine issues quickly
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust production lines for new product batches
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory
• Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure all machine safeguards remain functional

Requirements:

• Proven technical experience repairing and maintaining industrial or production machinery
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Comfort reading technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams
• Ability to stand for full shifts and lift/carry equipment up to 60 lbs
• Reliable, safety-focused mindset with strong accountability

Preferred:

• Experience with liquid filling, packaging, or bottling line machinery
• Technical certification, trade school diploma, or degree in mechanical/electrical fields
• Knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, or automated conveyer controls
