Machine Tool Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
CNC Speedwell Ltd is a busy machine shop located in Brownhills in the West Midlands. We are looking for an apprentice trained, experienced electrically biased maintenance technician to join our team.

You will have a broad electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will be happy working in both a proactive and reactive role managing your time to achieve best results for the company.

Essential experience:

· Experienced with low voltage control and feedback systems.

· Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens CNC control systems.

· Working with DC drives.

· Competent at reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic and other technical documents to research machine issues.

· Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems:

· Experience with replacing machine linear guides and ball screws.

· Perform machine levelling and alignment.

· Work well under pressure.

Desirable experience

· Apprentice trained and qualified with at least three years’ experience in performing maintenance on CNC machine tools.

· Experience of horizontal twin spindle, twin pallet milling machines

· Working with Siemens Simatic HMI.

· Forklift truck licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
