Machinery Coordinator

The Machinery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining the company’s machinery and equipment at project sites. The role includes managing spare parts, arranging servicing and repairs, and ensuring all machinery is properly maintained and in good working condition to support construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

 1. Monitor and coordinate the usage of company machinery and equipment at project sites.

2. Maintain proper records of machinery condition, servicing history, and maintenance schedules.

3. Check and manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock is available.

4. Coordinate machinery servicing, repairs, and maintenance when required.

5. Liaise with mechanics, suppliers, and service providers for spare parts and machinery servicing.

6. Assist in purchasing machinery spare parts or equipment when necessary.

7. Prepare and maintain proper documentation and reports related to machinery operations and maintenance.

8. Ensure machinery is properly used, maintained, and handled at the site.

9. Assist in monitoring machinery performance and report any issues to management.

10. Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

 1. Minimum SPM or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.

3. Must have knowledge of heavy machinery and vehicle spare parts, such as lorries, excavators, and other construction equipment.

4. Must know how to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid driving license.

5. Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently at construction sites.

6. Experience in construction machinery or equipment maintenance will be an added advantage.
