Machinery Operator

An Industrial chemical production facility is seeking to fill a position for a machinery operator. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7am-3pm. The position is full-time employment, pending a 90-day review.

Position Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe and professional working environment

· Perform tasks to be evaluated as a trainee with a production team

· Follow written standardized operating procedures and work instructions

· Maintain product quality standards for every assigned job

· Operate a forklift as part of production and general plant activities

· Perform general labor tasks as required to maintain the facilities

· Assist with other production and warehousing tasks as required

Position Requirements:

· Pass a drug and background check

· Valid Driver’s License

· Reliable personal transportation to and from work

· Ability to work within a team environment and receive training and instruction

· Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds

· Previous production experience is preferred but not required

· Previous forklift operator experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
