  • Maintain procurement engineering records, technical bid evaluation documents, vendor data, and equipment documentation in accordance with project procedures.
  • Support inspection, testing, and equipment delivery coordination by ensuring that technical and documentation requirements are fulfilled.
  • Coordinate with construction, production, and installation teams to address procurement-related technical issues and ensure equipment suitability for installation.
  • Ensure procurement engineering deliverables are completed within agreed project schedules and quality requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in machinery procurement engineering, technical procurement support, or machinery outfitting within marine, shipbuilding, shipyard, or offshore vessel projects.
  • Hands-on experience supporting procurement of marine machinery, mechanical equipment, and associated outfitting components.
  • Strong experience in reviewing technical specifications, equipment datasheets, vendor quotations, and supplier documentation.
  • Experience conducting technical bid evaluations (TBEs), preparing technical comparison sheets, and reviewing supplier compliance against project requirements.
  • Good understanding of marine machinery systems, equipment arrangements, machinery foundations, installation requirements, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment layouts, vendor drawings, technical requisitions, and equipment specifications.
  • Experience coordinating with procurement teams, engineering disciplines, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
  • Familiarity with marine classification society requirements, applicable shipbuilding standards, and project specifications.
