Machinery Technician (Selangor)

About the role

This role involves maintenance, servicing, and repair of boom lifts, scissor lifts, and related machinery across multiple project locations. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate documentation of all service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance (daily, monthly, 250H, 500H, etc.) for boom lifts, scissor lifts, and related machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer and company requirements
• Conduct pre-use and post-service inspections and complete service checklists accurately
• Attend machinery breakdowns on site and perform troubleshooting
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Carry out repair works, part replacement, and adjustments as required
• Verify proper functioning of emergency stop, emergency lowering, alarms, and safety devices
• Complete service reports, checklists, and maintenance records accurately
• Provide basic guidance to operators on safe operation and basic checks
• Be on standby or respond to urgent breakdowns when required

About you

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in maintaining boom lifts, scissor lifts, or similar machinery
• Technical knowledge in mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and PMA requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driving license
• Willing to travel and work at multiple locations
• Able to work extended hours, weekends, or overtime when required by project needs
