Machinist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by operating various machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Job:

·       Assist in machine setup and conversion of work orders to ensure smooth production flow.

·       Operate CNC Auto & Manual lathe machines, including handling part loading and unloading, while meeting daily production targets.

·       Perform machine adjustments when required to maintain accuracy and consistency.

·       Inspect finished parts to ensure quality compliance in line with SPC (Statistical Process Control) standards.

·       Conduct daily and monthly preventive maintenance on assigned machines to ensure optimal performance.

·       Support other production areas when necessary to achieve overall operational efficiency

·       Do 5S on Working area.

We are looking for:

·       SPM, High School Diploma, SKM certificates in a related field, or equivalent qualification.

·       Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

·       Experience in operating Rolling and Grinding machines will be an added advantage.

·       Able to do inspection using measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, profile projector, contracer, gauge etc)

·       Able to operate manual cutting and fabrication tools such as bench saw, sanding machine, and other related equipment.

·       Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when required.

·       Basic mathematics and computer skills.

·       Ability to follow instructions and new assignments given by superiors.

·       Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.

·       Willingness to learn and explore new skills.

·       Independent, with good communication and teamwork abilities.

·       Ability to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GD&T.
