Description
Job responsibilities :
- Operate CNC lathe and CNC milling machine.
- Able to read and program basic machining G code and also run pre-programmed parts on mills and lathes, watching the cutting process to catch errors early.
- Understand technical drawings4. Able to use basic math and precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, vernier caliper, dial gauges, etc)
- Maintenance of cnc lathe and cnc milling machine, including changing worn tool inserts, refill coolant and oil, and clean the work area
Requirements :
- At least 3 years experience as lathe operator.
- Prior working experience in shipyard would be an added advantage.
