  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Inspect your work to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality

  • Perform drilling, tapping, boring, facing, cutting, and other machining operations
  • Assist with the assembly and fitting of tooling components
  • Perform routine maintenance and care of machines, tools, and equipment
  • Keep tooling, materials, and work areas clean and organized
  • Work with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
  • Help identify ways to improve tooling, machining processes, quality, and efficiency

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

  • Experienced in machining, CNC machining, manual machining, tool and die work, or a related field
  • Comfortable setting up and operating machining equipment
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiar with machining tolerances and specifications
  • Able to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable troubleshooting and making adjustments during the machining process
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate, quality work
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and machine shop environment
  • Safety-conscious and willing to follow established procedures
  • Willing to learn new equipment, processes, and tooling methods

Previous machining experience is preferred. Experience with CNC equipment, manual mills and lathes, tooling, mold making, fixture building, fabrication, or similar work is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Lifting and moving materials, tooling, and components up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and handling materials
  • Loading and unloading parts, materials, and tooling from machines
  • Using hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment throughout the workday
  • Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working around CNC and manual machinery, cutting tools, metal chips, coolants, lubricants, and other materials commonly found in a machine shop
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment while working in production areas
