What they need
- Operate manual lathe machines to perform turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, and other machining operations.
- Set up workpieces, tools, and fixtures accurately according to drawings.
- Perform tool offset adjustment, speed/feed calibration, and machining cycle optimization.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, machining tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
- Machine components to meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
