Machinist

Caproco (1987) Limited is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to fabricate precision parts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Manual Lathe and Milling Machining. We are looking for a reliable, hard working team player who cares about his or her co-workers as well as customer satisfaction.

Caproco (1987) Limited provides design, manufacturing, operation and training services related to Internal Corrosion Monitoring and control.

Duties:

• Set up and operate Manual Lathes and Milling Machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve machining processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
