Machinist - (vertical turning lathe)

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Perform inspections and measurements of machined parts using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Operate Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or other CNC machining equipment, where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machine operations, tooling, and machining programs.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Adhere to all applicable Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and employee EHS responsibilities.
• Ensure product quality standards are met while maintaining equipment care, production targets, housekeeping, and schedules.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Secondary education or equivalent qualification.

• Experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, precision engineering, or a related field is advantageous.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
