MACHINIST/TORNERO

About the role

Wittmann Trade Center Corp. is seeking a skilled Machinist/Tornero to join our team in our Bagong Ilog Pasig City location. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment to produce high-quality parts and components for our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Set up, operate and monitor a range of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to manufacture parts to precise specifications
2. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the appropriate machines, tools, and procedures required
3. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity
4. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
5. Document work processes, record production data, and maintain detailed logs of machinery usage and maintenance
6. Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machinist/Tornero or similar role in a manufacturing environment
2. Strong understanding of machining principles, processes, and equipment
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
4. Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
7. Good communication and collaboration skills
