Contract Details

• Contract Type: B2B cooperation. Candidates must have their own s.r.o. (limited company) or equivalent business entity.
• Start Date: 1 November
• End Date: April 2027 (approximately 6 months)
• Work Setup: Fully remote

About the Role

• An experienced Magnolia CMS Consultant is required to support the definition of a target-state Digital Experience Platform as part of a major CMS migration initiative from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to Magnolia.
• The role focuses on evaluating current content management and digital experience capabilities and providing practical recommendations on which capabilities should be migrated, modernized, or retired.
• The consultant will act as a strategic advisor , helping shape future content operations, governance, workflows, operating models, and technical architecture.

Technology Focus: Magnolia CMS, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on Magnolia CMS best practices and capabilities.
• Assess the current CMS, content processes, governance, and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Define the future-state content management model for a multi-site, multi-language environment.
• Review architecture and integrations, recommending modernization and optimization opportunities.
• Support migration decisions by identifying what should be migrated, improved, postponed, or retired.

Project Scope & Deliverables

• Assess the current CMS and content management landscape.
• Deliver recommendations for content management, governance, workflows, localization, DAM, and platform architecture.
• Create a prioritized roadmap for migration and modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate the impact, risks, effort, and complexity of proposed improvements.
• Provide recommendations that balance migration objectives with long-term platform evolution.

Required Experience and Skills

• Several years of hands-on experience with Magnolia CMS architecture and implementation .
• Experience with large-scale CMS migration projects .
• Strong understanding of content management, governance, and authoring processes.
• Experience working in multi-site, multi-language environments.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business and operational value.
• Strong consulting and analytical skills.
• Available to start on short notice for an approximately 6-month assignment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Digital Experience Platform (DXP) programs and modernization initiatives.
• Experience evaluating open-source CMS or community edition solutions.
