Mail Buying Associate

As part of our Mail Buying team, you’ll be involved in the entire mail-buying process—from receiving packages and communicating with customers to processing buys through the mail, Sell List Requests, and Ship + Sell program. You’ll also organize and prepare cards for their next stop: our inventory. If you like cards, staying busy, and seeing a project go from “just arrived” to “ready to sell,” there’s always something happening on the Mail Buying team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood, and Lorcana cards is helpful, but not required.
• Possess great attention to detail.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Able to work well independently and as a part of a team.
• Remain flexible and accomplish tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn and make good use of new programs and assets.
• Familiar with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Essential Duties:

• Process mail-in sell requests using the Buyer Admin.
• Communicate with customers about their sell requests using the Buyer Admin and Gorgias.
• Answer phone calls and return voicemails.
• Schedule appointments in the Storefront for in-person purchases.
• Assist with processes as assigned by the Mail Buying Supervisor, such as facilitating customer returns.
• Assist with organizing cards for integration into inventory.
• Assist with processing collection purchases, such as organizing and pricing Ship + Sells.
• Assist with grading cards.

Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands:

‘Regularly’ indicates this action would generally occur for over 5 hours each shift.
‘Frequently’ would generally occur for 2.5 to 5 hours each shift.
‘Occasionally’ would occur periodically but is necessary to complete essential duties.

• Regularly required to sit for long periods.
• Regularly required to utilize finger and hand dexterity with repetitive motion tasks.
• Regularly operate a computer, utilizing a mouse and keyboard.
• Occasionally must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for short distances.
• Occasionally must stoop, bend, kneel, and maintain full dexterity.
• Work environment often has airborne dust particles.
