Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles including vans, box trucks, and other commercial trucks, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route management systems to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Deliver mail, parcels, and packages directly to customers’ doors or designated drop-off points with professionalism and courtesy.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each route completed.
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and moving shipments using manual handling practices.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating vans, box trucks, or commercial trucks preferred.
• Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items; experience with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Familiarity with route driving, traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude when interacting with clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively across multiple stops.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation and communication during routes.

Pay: $51,800.00 - $62,500.00 per year
