Main Operator for Digital Printing

Al Dar Events is looking for an experienced and skilled Main Digital Printing Machine Operator to manage and oversee our digital printing production operations.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of large-format digital printing machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality printing output, efficient production, and timely completion of all printing jobs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Operate and manage all types of large-format digital printing machines, including UV Printing, Eco-Solvent, Solvent, Latex, and Sublimation Printing Machines.
• Operate flatbed printers, roll-to-roll printers, and other digital printing equipment.
• Handle printing on various materials, including vinyl, flex, banners, stickers, canvas, backlit film, fabrics, acrylic, foam board, PVC, and other printing substrates.
• Prepare and manage print files using RIP software and ensure correct printing settings, resolution, colors, and dimensions.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, printhead cleaning, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine errors, printing defects, color issues, and technical problems.
• Monitor printing quality to ensure accurate colors, proper alignment, and high-quality finishing.
• Manage daily printing schedules and ensure timely completion of production orders.
• Minimize printing material wastage and optimize ink and material consumption.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and installation teams to meet project requirements.
• Supervise and guide junior printing operators and production assistants.
• Maintain machines, tools, and the printing production area in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating large-format digital printing machines.
• Strong technical knowledge of UV, Solvent, Eco-Solvent, Latex, and Sublimation printing technologies.
• Experience operating both flatbed and roll-to-roll printing machines.
• Good knowledge of RIP software such as ONYX, FlexiPRINT, Caldera, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW is an advantage.
• Ability to independently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing machines.
• Good understanding of printing materials, ink types, color management, and production quality standards.
• Ability to handle multiple printing jobs and work under tight deadlines.
• Previous experience in advertising, signage, exhibitions, or event production companies is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
