We are currently hiring for " Mainframe Application Support " with one of our CLient based in Pune/Chennai/Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Required Only Support Exp not development .

Required : 2 to 4 Years of experience in Mainframe Application Support.

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners

Excellent Communication Skill

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid (Mandatory Work from Office 3 Days a Week)

Shift: Rotational Shifts including Night Shifts & Weekend Support (24x7 Support Environment)

Job Summary

We are looking for an L1 Mainframe Application Support Analyst to support critical banking applications running on Mainframe platforms. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of Mainframe technologies, possess good troubleshooting skills, and be willing to work in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Mainframe production applications.
• Perform first-level analysis and troubleshooting of incidents.
• Monitor batch jobs and resolve basic job failures.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams as required.
• Handle incident, service request, and change tickets through ServiceNow.
• Support application availability and meet defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with internal teams during production issues and outages.
• Prepare and maintain operational support documentation.
• Participate in shift handovers and support activities.

Mandatory Skills

• JCL
• COBOL
• CICS
• Mainframe DB2
• PL/1
• VSAM
• Mainframe Scheduler (TWS / Control-M / CA7 / Equivalent)
• ServiceNow

Domain Requirement

• Basic to good understanding of Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Experience supporting banking applications will be preferred.

Required Experience

• 2 to 4 Years of experience in Mainframe Application Support.
• Knowledge of production support processes and incident management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced support environment.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of ITIL processes.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to batch monitoring and job scheduling tools.

Additional Requirements

• Must be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
• Must be comfortable working in a 24x7 support environment based on project requirements.
• Should be willing to work from office as per the hybrid work policy.
