Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM NetView for z/OS environments.
• Configure, support, and optimize NetView automation infrastructure and controls.
• Develop automation solutions using REXX, CLIST, and NetView Command Lists (CMDLISTs).
• Implement and support event-driven and message-driven automation processes.
• Create automated notification, escalation, and recovery procedures.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and operational workflows.
• Configure and manage NetView Automation Tables (AUTOTBL) and message-processing rules.
• Develop proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Integrate NetView automation with z/OS Communications Server, VTAM, TCP/IP, OMEGAMON, and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, network, security, systems programming).

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with IBM z/OS.
• 5+ years IBM NetView administration and automation experience.
• Strong hands-on skills with REXX, CLIST, automation scripting.
• Proven experience designing and supporting event-driven automation in large mainframe environments.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and improving infrastructure resiliency.
• Familiarity with NetView AUTOTBL, CMDLISTs, and event/message automation.
• Strong networking and monitoring experience with z/OS Communications Server, VTAM, TCP/IP, OMEGAMON.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with IBM System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS).
• Background in large-scale financial services or banking environments.
• Knowledge of RACF, z/OS security, ITIL processes, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in 24x7 enterprise production support.
• Familiarity with CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and related z/OS subsystems.

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to work onsite 3 days/week at one of the listed locations (relocation considered).
• Must have a strong LinkedIn profile and be at a senior level.
