Mainframe CICS Admin

Roles and Responsibility

• Manage and maintain mainframe systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CICS transactions and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and changes.
• Develop and implement procedures for system maintenance, backups, and recovery.
• Monitor system logs and perform regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support and training to junior team members.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe systems administration, preferably with CICS.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems, including z/OS and z/VSE.
• Experience with CICS transaction processing and application development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for mainframe systems administration.
